Having a safe place to discuss what you might be experiencing can be very helpful. Even though you might be feeling like you’re alone and struggling with anxiety, identity, victim of a hate crime, or depression – It can be better. Please make the call for help. Whether this is to me, a friend, or another provider, nobody deserves to be alone in the pain that others before you have coped with alone.
I am sensitive to the needs of the LGBTQ population and am here to help. You’ll find the freedom to explore and unconditional acceptance when you visit me. I will help you navigate the waters of your stress and help you find the strengths you may have forgotten you still have.
There are different stages of processing that happen when people are in the stages of coming out specific to the LGBTQ population. We will explore these and within them will resolve the heartache you might have. Don’t give up, there are people that can understand.

You are worth every breath, moment, and deserve every bit of dignity in this world. You may feel like you do not have the strength to move forward. I acknowledge and hold dear those who couldn't cope any longer.
Anxiety, depression and addiction disorders are known to be more prevalent in the LGBTQ population. Stigma and discrimination play a leading role in contributing to the specific challenges faced.
Reasons a person might seek specific LGBTQ therapy include:
Dealing with homophobia
Dealing with societal prejudice
Coming to terms with one’s sexuality
Coming out as LGBTQ
Negotiating family relationships (including gay marriage)
